I often get asked what I am seeking to buy, so I thought it would be helpful to put together an occasional list of what I am specifically hunting. While I am interested in any great vintage watch in great condition at the right price, these are watches I am particularly hunting, in no particular order.   1. Rolex Explorers, references 1016 and 6610 with mint gilt dials

  2. Rolex Submariners in 18k gold, references 1680 and 16808, with black or blue dials

  3. Rolex GMT-Masters, reference 1675 in steel in mint condition with gilt or matte dials

  4. Rolex Daytona references 6239, 6240, 6241, 6262, 6263, 6264, and 6265 in steel or gold - particularly a reference 6263 "Big Red" with black dial

  5. Rolex Pre-Daytonas (6238, 6234, 3525, 2508, etc.)

  6. Rolex “Paul Newman” Daytonas, especially those in steel with white dials (references 6239, 6241, 6263, 6264, and 6265)

  7. Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 (36mm) in white gold
