Watch Spotting at The Original Miami Beach Antique Show 2023 (Part 1)

Words & Photos By Charlie Dunne

Each year, we look forward to The Original Miami Beach Antique Show (OMBAS). For those who may not be aware of the “Beach Show”, it is one of the only venues in the Americas where attendees can publicly admire and purchase some of the best vintage timepieces. Each January, attendees travel across the world to OMBAS to connect and shop. This annual event is not only a horological pilgrimage, but also a 600+ vendor event which features vintage and antique jewelry, furniture, handbags, art, and home accessories. In last year’s articles, we highlighted the excitement amongst collectors as the event returned after a cancelled 2020 event. The 2022 show was clearly a moment watch lovers did not want to miss. This year the attendance was even larger, as the Wind Vintage booth was constantly swarmed with collectors and colleagues throughout the five-day show. Thankfully, we had additional assistance this year with the help of Nicole Andrade, and Max Braun. Below is an epic highlight reel from the first and second day. Be sure to keep an eye out for part two where we highlight the remaining three days!
