Rolex Daytona Reference 6265

This is a museum-grade example Rolex Daytona reference 6265. The luminous plots on the dial’s peripheral remain intact, which is oftentimes not the case as these would be susceptible to damage during service. This watch is from circa 1979, with a serial number in the 4.01 million range. The case is in remarkable condition and remains unpolished. It measures 37mm in diameter. The movement is a manual wind calibre 727 made by Valjoux.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 1002 "Full Set"

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual reference 1002 is a spectacular watch. The luminous hands and dial have turned to a pale yellow color which looks brilliant on the white dial. The watch is paired with a Jubilee bracelet. The stainless-steel case measures 34mm in diameter (or 39.5mm lug-to-lug). The case is crisp and unpolished. This models dates to 1969 with its 2.07M serial number. The papers indicated the watch was sold to a gentleman in New York City in December of 1970. For those looking for a homerun Rolex without breaking the bank, this watch is a great option!

Rolex Lapis Lazuli Day-Date Reference 18038

This vintage Rolex 18038 is absolutely incredible featuring a rare dial made of lapis lazuli. This dial is an incredibly vibrant and deep blue tone depending upon the light. The movement features a “single quickset” calendar function to set the date quickly. The 18K gold case has been lightly polished but remains very strong. The dial is uncompromised and remains completely intact.

Rolex "IBM" Datejust Reference 16030 "Full Set"

This Rolex Datejust Reference 16030 is in fantastic condition. The case is unpolished and measures 36mm in diameter (44mm lug-to-lug). The lume is an extraordinarily beautiful warm cream color. The watch dates to circa 1980 with a serial number of 6.41M. The caseback features the former owner’s name engraved with his employer’s (IBM) logo. It was received by the employee on August 15, 1981.

The watch comes "full set" with box and papers from the original owner’s widow. However, it is worth mentioning that the serial number is mismatched on the papers due to a mistake by IBM at presentation. It does have a hang-tag with correct serial number.

Cartier Santos

This Cartier Santos is a beautiful timepiece with an unpolished case. It measures 27mm in diameter and 36mm lug-to-lug. The case is very elegant at 5mm thick. The watch features two owl hallmarks indicating was likely sold in the French market. It dates to the 1970s and is one of the most attractive examples I’ve seen in years. With so many vintage Cartier models achieving record-breaking amounts at auction, this timepiece represents fantastic value.

Rolex Winn-Dixie “Truck Logo” Air-King Reference 5500 “10 Year Safe Driver”

Some of the most interesting Rolex watches are the special “Winn-Dixie” models which were earned by long-term employees at the supermarket franchise. The “10 Year Safe Driver” watches were given to Winn-Dixie employees who had performed for a decade without any incidents while behind the wheel. The logo resembles the shape of a truck, and this has resulted in many mistakenly referring to it as the “Truck Logo”.

Introduced in circa 1957, the reference 5500 remained in production for over 30 years. The case measures 34mm in diameter (with a lug-to-lug length of 40mm). The lug width is 19 mm and the height is 12 mm including the crystal. Each reference 5500 will feature drilled lugs. This reference 5500 was produced circa 1984 with an 8.0M serial number. The caseback features faint initials of the original owner’s engraving. The watch has been lightly polished.

Rolex Winn-Dixie Air-King Reference 14000 “10 Year Safe Maintenance”

This example is for a driver employee that had an impressive 10-year period in which they avoided any accidents on the job.

The watch is slightly over 34mm in diameter (with a lug-to-lug length of 43mm). The lug width is 19mm and the height is slightly lower at around 11.5mm including the crystal. The Winn-Dixie stamp has developed a slight patina in the lower half of the dial. The case is unpolished and features a Z serial number circa 2006-2007.
