F.P.Journe has become one of the most sought after and beloved independent watchmakers. Mr. Journe is one of the most significant watchmakers of the past century and the Chronomètre à Résonance is arguably his most iconic model.

This 38mm F.P.Journe Chronomètre à Résonance in platinum with brass movement is early and rare. This white gold dial is sensation. The case is probably unpolished.

Complicated F.P.Journe models, particularly the iconic Resonance, have been achieving records at auction in recent months. A platinum Resonance example just sold for $762,000 and a pink gold Resonance example just sold for $685,800.

This watch was originally purchased new in 2004. It comes full set with the original box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
