Heuer Autavia reference 3646 “First Execution”
An amazing example of a “Big Subs” / “Big Eyes” First Execution Autavia reference 3646 from circa 1962/1963. These early Autavias are considered “Holy Grail” pieces for Heuer collectors. This example has one of the most attractive and clean dials on one of these that I have seen. Often, these early Autavias get damage in the white registers, but these are extremely clean. The two-register 3646 has the benefit of a more symmetrical look than the 2446 and you can also see the extremely cool 6 marker at 6:00 on the 3646.
This watch has a manual-wind movement (Caliber 92 made by Valjoux), and is 39mm in diameter.
