Heuer Autavia 3rd Execution Jochen Rindt Reference 2446 Transitional Case Unpolished w/ service box
The Heuer Autavia is recognized by collectors as one of the great sports chronographs of the 1960s. Along with many of its contemporaries of the era, it is powered by the Valjoux 72. Nicknamed the “Jochen Rindt” for its association with the German Formula One driver, the reference 2446 is regarded as one of the great Heuer racing chronographs.
This example is the 3rd execution case of the Autavia which was introduced. The case appears to be unpolished. It features the 12-hour bezel. It is paired on a NOS 19mm Heuer signed Corfam strap with a signed buckle.
The watch does not come with papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
It does come with a service box.
