Heuer Carrera Ref. 110.255 “1980 Bahrain Olympic Team” Gold Plated w/ Ephemera Unpolished

This Heuer Carrera is an interesting part of athletic history as it was made for the Bahraini Olympians of 1980. The dial features a crest and text that reads Bahrain. There is an additional caseback engraving endorsing Heuer as the official timekeeper of the Olympics. The case is gold-plated and measures approximately 38mm in diameter and 43mm lug-to-lug. It is paired with an unsigned black rally strap and an 18k yellow gold Heuer buckle. 

The watch does not come with a box or papers. It comes with a sticker and flyer from the 1980s Olympics in Moscow. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
