Heuer Carrera Reference 2447N Unpolished on Gay Freres Beads of Rice Bracelet

This Heuer Carrera reference 2447N is an incredible example with the rare silver printing. The luminous hands have an extremely attractive color and pops on the contrasting black dial.

The condition is very nice, and the case appears to be unpolished. It measures 36 millimeters in diameter and 45mm lug-to-lug. The watch is powered by the Valjoux manual-winding calibre 72. This example dates to circa 1966. This dial and hands is the first execution with the same style of hour markers on the early Daytonas! It is a gorgeous and very class chronograph.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.

For those who need a bit of context to the background of this watch, it was formerly in the collection of one of the most sophisticated collectors in the great state of Florida. Eric and Charlie worship him and his impeccable taste! He saw the watch on leather strap, and said “I think I would like to add a Gay Frères bracelet to that watch”. Eric and Charlie were amazed when he pointed to the period-correct Gay Frères beads of rice that it is currently on the watch and adds sophistication and class to an already sleek chronograph.
