Heuer Carrera Reference 2447NST Unpolished

The Heuer Carrera is one of the legendary chronograph designs of the 20th century. Featuring stark angled lugs that were a product of the architecture of the 1960s. You can read more about the origins of the Carrera in the in-depth article that I wrote back in 2013. James Hunt wore the same reference.

This example is a very rare reference 2447 NST (Noir/Black dial, Silver/White Registers, and Tachymeter) “inverse panda” dial. It is an outstanding watch. The watch is powered by the manual-wind Valjoux calibre 72. The case appears to be unpolished. It is paired on a Gay Freres bracelet.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
