Heuer Dash Timer Double Set “Indianapolis Speedway”

This is an extremely cool set of HEUR dash timers, the timers, in stainless steel cases, are wound and operated through monopusher winding crowns at the 12 o’clock position. They come with a plastic Heuer twinboard that holds them together. 

These were mounted in automobiles for the purpose of racing and are absolutely incredible for those that appreciate this cross over between racing and timekeeping.

This example emerged from a small auction in Indiana recently. It is a slightly newer set from the 1960s and one of the coolest bits of Heuer and Indianapolis Motor Speedway memorabilia one can own!

An earlier example sold for $18,750 at Christie’s in 2017 and is now on display at the TAG Heuer museum.

We do not know the service history, but they are both running well.
