OMEGA Speedmaster Ed White Reference 105.003-65 Unpolished w/ Papers + Extract

It is no secret that I love vintage OMEGA Speedmasters. You can see the HODINKEE Reference Points video I did on the subject with Ben Clymer.

This is a great reference 105.003, also referred to as the “Ed White” as it was famously worn by the astronaut. The watch dates to circa 1965. It is powered by the iconic calibre 321, which was recently re-released and garnered great reception and excitement from a large portion of watch collectors. The dimensions are 38.5mm in diameter (or 48mm lug-to-lug) with a lug width of 19mm. The dial features tritium lume that has patinated with age. It is paired with an Omega 7912 bracelet dating to 1966.

To learn more about the Omega Speedmaster, you can watch ‘Reference Points: Understanding The Entire Lineage Of The Omega Speedmaster’ video I made with Ben Clymer in 2015 (and corresponding article).

The watch does not come with a box or papers. It does come as an Extract from the Archives. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
