OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Ref. 145.012-67 Unpolished
The Omega Speedmaster was introduced in 1957, initially created for drivers in automotive racing. However, it would reach iconic status by eventually reaching spaceflight qualification by NASA amongst several of the highest grade chronographs of its era.
This example has turned to a tropical dark brown dial. The watch dates to circa 1967 and it is paired with what we believe is the original Omega reference 1039 flat link bracelet with original 516 end-links also dating to 1967. This Speedmaster Professional case measures 42mm, but it wears a bit smaller as that includes the crown guards. The case appears to be unpolished. The crown appears to be original and is worth approximately $1,000 by iteself. The Dot Over 90 (or DON) bezel is correct and presumably original.
To learn more about the Omega Speedmaster, you can watch ‘Reference Points: Understanding The Entire Lineage Of The Omega Speedmaster’ video I made with Ben Clymer in 2015 (and corresponding article).
The watch does not come with box or papers. We do not know the service history but it is running well. It is hard to find an all-original and unpolished example of an OMEGA Speedmaster with 321 movement and original bracelet in this configuration and this is cheap as chips!
