Rollingout: Drake’s Rolex from ‘Take Care’ is for sale, but costly

There are albums, and then there is Take Care. Drake’s second studio album, released in 2011, has held its ground in conversations about the most significant rap records of the past two decades. The cover image alone, Drake at Joso’s restaurant in Toronto, framed in the black and gold of his OVO brand, has been studied, recreated, and referenced more times than most artists’ entire catalogs.
Now one of the most recognizable objects from that era is on the market. The Rolex GMT-Master II that Drake wore on the cover of Take Care and in the video for Marvin’s Room is listed for sale at $500,000 through vintage watch dealer Eric Wind of Wind Vintage.
