Robin Williams' Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Reference 270.3.36 in Full Set Unpolished

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Dual Time reference 270.3.3 is a great stainless steel wrist watch with two dials. The watch has an incredible provenance and was owned by the comedian and actor Robin Williams.

Robin Williams is regarded as one of the most important and legendary comedians who stood out for his incredible stage presence, energy, accents and impersonations. Williams was a generational talent for his dynamic on-screen talent in comedy roles, as well as dramas and thrillers. Williams won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 1997 film Good Will Hunting. He won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy in the 1988 film Good Morning, Vietnam, as well Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Mrs. Doubtfire.

Williams’ comedy career garnered immense praise from critics and his peers. He won a Grammy for Best Comedy Album on his albums Reality...What a Concept, Good Morning, Vietnam, A Night at the Met’ and Robin Williams Live - 2002.

The watch was sold at Sotheby’s in 2018 at the Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams auction. This watch is an incredibly sentimental opportunity for fans of the iconic actor/comedian.

The white dial is time only with a small center seconds sub dial. The black dial also sub-dials for 24 hours. Both dials feature guilloché finishing. The stainless steel case measures approximately 26mm x 42mm.

The watch comes as a “full set” with box and papers and dates to 2001. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
