Rolex Big Red Daytona Reference 6263 Unpolished w/ Box

This Rolex Daytona Reference 6263 is an exceptional watch. The dial beautiful and the lume plots remain fully intact, which is rare for vintage Daytonas. The dial is outstanding. This watch has a 6.04M case serial number dating to circa 1979. It is powered by the manual-wind movement by Valjoux and is 37mm in diameter. The case appears to be unpolished. It features the original Mk 2 acrylic bezel, which is in fantastic condition.

It is paired on a Rolex 78350 Oyster bracelet with 571 end links with VE date code dating to 1980 which appears to be original to the watch.

The watch comes from box. It does not come with papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.

The watch comes from a son whose father gifted him the Daytona. The father owned the watch for many years and now the son is selling it to gift his father his dream car.
