Rolex Black Dial Two-Tone Zenith Daytona Reference 16523 with Papers Unpolished

This is an extremely nice two-tone Zenith Daytona reference 16523. It features an A serial dating it to circa 1999. It features the black dial variant which is the most attractive of the two-tone examples. It features an X12 bracelet code dating to 1999 and is original to the watch.

The “Zenith Daytonas” have appreciated significantly the last few years as people respect the modified Zenith El Primero movements that Rolex used for their first automatic Daytonas starting in 1988. The case appears to be unpolished. It measures 40mm in diameter (46mm lug-to-lug). It is paired on a 78360 two-tone Oyster bracelet with correct 403 end links.

This watch comes with papers. It does not come with a box. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
