Rolex Daytona Reference 6265 in 18K YG

This is a very special Rolex Daytona reference 6265 in 18k yellow gold. This features the black matte dial with champagne subdials. The subdials are super sharp and contrast beautifully in the light. This watch dates to circa 1979, with a serial number in the 5.9 million range. It is paired on an 18k gold Rolex 7205 Rivet bracelet with 71 end links with an D date code dating to 1979. It measures 37mm in diameter. The case has been polished in the past.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
