Rolex Double Red Sea-Dweller MK 4 Reference 1665

This Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 1665 features the highly desired and vibrant "Double Red" dial. The earliest Sea-Dwellers used cases like on the Rolex Submariner reference 5512, but incorporated a helium escape valve (HEV) added to the left side of the case.

This watch features a 5.2 million serial dating to circa 1977-1978. The case is polished, but is attractive. The watch measures 40mm in diameter.

It is paired on an solid Oyster bracelet with OP3 date code dating to circa 2006.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.

It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
