Rolex Fat Lady GMT-Master II 16760 Faded Insert

The original Rolex GMT Master models were created for Pan Am pilots in the 1950s. Due to its incredible heritage and iconic look, The GMT Master II remains a flagship model for Rolex to this day. 

The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 16760 is also referred to as the “Fat Lady” due to its updated case size compared to previous references. The bezel has a fun faded patina, turning the “Coke” colors to grey and pink. The case measures 40mm in diameter.  The watch has a 9.62M serial dating to circa 1987. The watch is paired with a reference 78360 service bracelet dating to circa 2005. The dial and hands are service replacement. The case has been polished.

The watch comes with an additional all black insert, and an additional “Coke” bezel.

The watch does not come with a box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
