Rolex Floating Big Red Daytona Reference 6263

This Rolex Daytona reference 6263 is a very attractive watch which features the floating “Big Red” dial. This watch is from circa 1985 with a serial number in the 8.7 million range. This dial is slightly earlier for the case serial and was likely swapped at some point. The dial is super attractive, and someone will be very happy with the overall aesthetic.

The case is lightly polished, but is strong. The case measures 37mm in diameter. It is paired on solid link Oyster bracelet with I date code (circa 1984).

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It just passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
