Rolex Mark IV GMT-Master Reference 1675 Pepsi Full Set w/ Service Booklet

The Rolex GMT-Master was originally designed for Pan Am pilots in the 1950s and continues to be a flagship model for Rolex to this day. The reference 1675 was introduced in 1959 and remained in production until 1980.

This is an attractive Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master reference 1675. The insert is incredibly attractive and the classic blue/red synonymous with the vintage Rolex GMT-Master. The watch features a 3.24M serial number dating to circa 1973. The case appears has been lightly polished in the past. It is paired on an Oyster folded link 7836 bracelet with 380 end links without date code and is possibly original to the watch.

One neat feature of this watch is that it has a close serial to Marlon Brando’s GMT-Master reference 1675, which also had a 3.24M serial number, and shares the same Mark IV / Mark 4 dial. This run in the 3.24M range was the first use of the Mark IV dial and it did not reappear until the late 1970s.

We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It comes with box and papers. It also comes with a Rolex Service booklet from the 2000s (it is not dated or filled out), It just recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
