Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback Reference 5050 Tropical Dial Unpolished

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual “Bubbleback” reference 5050 is an incredible watch with a luminous tropical dial. The watch dates to the late 1940s. The case measures 32mm in diameter by 39mm lug to lug. The dial has developed a beautiful warm golden tone. The minute hand has luminous material lost. The case appears unpolished.

The watch does not come with a box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
