Rolex Pointed-Crown-Guard GMT-Master Reference 1675 w/ Glossy Dial
The Rolex GMT-Master was originally designed for Pan Am pilots in the 1950s and continues to be a flagship model for Rolex to this day. The reference 1675 was introduced in 1959 and remained in production until 1980.
This is a the quintessential GMT-Master reference 1675 featuring a 1.1M serial number dating to circa 1964-1965. It features one of the best preserved gilt dials on any 1675. It is paired on its original Rolex 7206 bracelet with the correct 80 end links dating to circa 1968.
The watch overall is in fantastic condition. The aluminum bezel insert is extremely attractive. It features the pointed crown guard or “PCG” style case. The case has been very lightly polished and is extremely attractive. It features one of the nicest glossy dials we have ever seen on a GMT.
This is a Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675 I would love to personally own and consider a grail example.
The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It just passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
