Rolex Submariner Bart Simpson Gilt Dial Reference 5513

This Rolex Submariner reference 5512 is a special example with the “Bart Simpson” coronet/dial. The Bart Simpson dials are the final gilt versions on Submariner dials. The watch has a 1.51M serial dating to circa 1966. The lume is puffy and warm. The case has been lightly polished, but is attractive. It is paired on a firm 7206 Rolex Rivet bracelet with 80 end links dating to 1968. It features the correct long 5 bezel insert. It features the correct twin-lock crown.
