Rolex Submariner Ref. 16800 Transitional Matte Dial w/ Service Papers

The Rolex Submariner is one of the most renowned sports watches of all time. This example with a transitional matte dial features a 7.0M serial number dating to circa 1981. The dial features tritium luminous material without the white metal surrounds which would later replace these late matte dials. The case measures 40mm in diameter and is paired with a reference 93150 Oyster bracelet that dates to circa 1981 as well.

We do not know the service history, but the watch is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar. It does not come with the original box or papers. It comes with Rolex service papers dating to 2022.
