A 1957 Jaeger-LeCoultre Catalog

By Charlie Dunne

I am always eager to find vintage primary source material from Jaeger-LeCoultre. Friend of Wind Vintage @carpusreverso knows this and when he came across this small LeCoultre booklet from the 1950s online, he was kind enough to send it my way. Whilst the internal findings did not contain any groundbreaking JLC discoveries, I was thrilled nonetheless to have some more documents from the Le Sentier manufacturer. The booklet dates to 1957 and was from Burkay City Jewelers, New York City. As expected the main focus surrounds the product line of the period including the Atmos, the Futurematic, the Wrist-Alarm (Memovox), complicated pocket watches, and the world’s thinnest and smallest watches.
