The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is among the most iconic wristwatches and I’m thrilled to offer this exceptional and extremely early example of the origin of the species. The dial is in excellent condition. The case and bracelet have been polished in the past, like on the vast majority of Royal Oaks, but are attractive. The watch should fit a wrist up slightly over 7 inches and features the original flip “Audemars Piguet” flip clasp with the Gay Freres “GF” logo and 1/72 date code indicating it was made in the first quarter of 1972. Cartier Calibre de Cartier Astrotourbillon Full Set

This Cartier Astrotourbillon is a very cool complicated timepiece. The watch was a limited edition release of 100 examples. It measures 52mm in diameter and 54mm lug to lug. SOME SAY THIS IS CARTIER AT ITS BEST! SJX gave the watch a breathless review during the release in 2011 at SIHH.

“I think this is the best looking iteration of the Calibre de Cartier case yet!…The lightweight titanium gives a natural feeling of power and presence, reinforced by the exceptional wearing comfort of an ergonomic design featuring four horns that curve down to embrace the shape of the wrist…Its refined silhouette is punctuated by a satin-brushed and polished double shoulder, which protects the octagonal crown from any shocks that could interfere with the watch’s operation. The rigorous standards and creativity demonstrated by these details extend to the Roman numerals, which offer a striking reinterpretation of the Cartier codes with an extra-large XII numeral dominating the dial. Its identity is further enhanced by a succession of semi-circular finishes, which perfectly reflect the dynamics of the 21st century.”

It comes with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
