Rolex Day-Date Reference 18038 Unpolished w/ Box

The Rolex Day-Date was introduced in 1956 and was the first watch to display the date, as well as the fully-spelled-out day of the week. The Day-Date is certainly one of the best luxury timepieces ever designed.

This reference 18038 is an incredibly attractive watch with a strikingly warm champagne dial. The 18K-gold case appears to be unpolished. It measures 36mm in diameter (43mm lug-to-lug). This particular example dates to circa 1984 with a 8.5M serial.

The watch does not come with papers. It does come with box. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.

Vulcain Cricket with Non-Luminous Roman Numeral Dial Unpolished

This Vulcain Cricket is among the earliest styles produced just over 100 years after the La-Chaux-de-Fonds manufacturer’s inception. Like the “LBJ” dial Crickets, it features the original or “OG” style case. It measures 34mm in diameter (just under 43mm lug-to-lug).

The steel case features drilled lugs..

The dial is non-luminous and features applied-Roman numerals. The case remains unpolished. The watch is powered by the calibre 120, and has an exceptional voice when the alarm is engaged.

Patek Philippe Reference 3491/3 Retailed by Cartier in 18K Yellow Gold Unpolished w/ Extract

This is a very special and refined timepiece by Patek Philippe retailed by Cartier. The case and bracelet are made of 18k yellow gold. The bracelet is very intricately made and special. It was produced by Jean-Pierre Ecoffey who produced many of these high-end bracelets for Patek, Audemars Pieguet, and others. The dial has a phenomenal texture that complements the woven bracelet. The case measures 26mm by 26mm. It dates to the mid-1960s-1970s. It is unpolished and one of the most beautiful Patek Philippe watches we have ever held

It does not come with box and papers. The watch was just serviced by the legendary Alkis Kotsopoulos of Swiss Watch Repair in New York City. It was serviced for the first time, reflecting the original and spectacular condition of the watch. We have ordered an Extract from the Archives from Patek Philippe for the watch.

TUDOR Snowflake Submariner Reference 9401/0

This TUDOR Snowflake Submariner reference 9401/0 is a very cool sports watch and the rare no-date variant of the model. It features a ghosted-bezel insert that was likely replaced. The bracelet is later. The case is to be well worn, and possibly unpolished.

It features an 846,XXX serial dating to circa 1976.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. The watch recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.

Rolex IBM Datejust 16220 Unpolished

I absolutely love steel Rolex Datejusts. I recently wrote about them in our blog ‘Don't Sleep On This: The Simple Vintage Rolex Datejust In Steel’. I’m constantly amazed by the quality and differentiations of the dials that Rolex used in vintage Datejusts over the decades. I have found the Rolex Datejust to be one of the most versatile watches a person can have and the simplicity in this silver-dial reference 16220 is so beautiful. The watch dates to circa 1991 and features an X serial. The case measures 36mm in diameter and is paired on a 78360 Rolex Oyster bracelet and 558 end links.

The watch is in excellent condition. The caseback features the former owner’s name engraved with his employer’s (IBM) logo. It was received by the employee in 1991.

We believe the case is unpolished. It does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. The watch recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.

Heuer Calendar Chronograph Reference 2547S w/ Box

This vintage Heuer reference 2547S is a very cool complicated watch. It features a Valjoux 72C with calendar chronograph. The dial is silver. The steel case is 36mm in diameter. It has been polished in the past. For those looking for classic complicated Heuer, this is a great option.

The watch does not include papers. It does come with a box. We do not know the service histroy, but it is running well.

Rolex Datejust Reference 16030 Unpolished w/ Silver Dial

I absolutely love steel Rolex Datejusts. I recently wrote about them in our blog ‘Don't Sleep On This: The Simple Vintage Rolex Datejust In Steel’. I’m constantly amazed by the quality and differentiations of the dials that Rolex used in vintage Datejusts over the decades. I have found the Rolex Datejust to be one of the most versatile watches a person can have and the simplicity in this silver-dial reference 16030 is so beautiful.

The watch dates to 1986 and features a 9.03M serial. The case measures 36mm in diameter. The case appears to be unpolished.

It does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history of this watch.

Heuer Camaro Reference 7743 NT on Gay Frères Bracelet Unpolished

Heuer is renowned for its rich history with automotive racing, and one of the great models from the golden age of the brand is the Camaro. The Camaro line has always been a sleeper when compared to the more discussed siblings such as the Autavia and Carrera. This particular reference 7743 NT represents why the Camaro is a watch that warrants more discussion. The dial has aged beautifully and is a dark brown. The crisp branding is emphasized in white, with highly legible subdials at 6 and 9 o’clock. The case and bracelet are unpolished. It is powered by the Valjoux 7730, a formidable bi-register chronograph that has stood the test of time.

The watch comes does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. The original Gay Frères Heuer double-grain beads of rice bracelet with correct HLA end links is worth approximately $5,000 alone.

Rolex Wide Boy Datejust Reference 1601 Unpolished

This Rolex Datejust reference 1601 is an awesome watch with a bold “wide boy” dial. The thick non-luminous hands and dial make for a super distinct Datejust. The case appears to be unpolished and the watch dates to circa 1972 with a 3.11M serial number. The watch measures 36mm in diameter. It is pared on a Rolex Jubilee bracelet made in the US.

Cartier Santos Carrée Two-Tone 2961 Ghost Dial

Cartier is having a moment and models like the classic manual wind Santos are very special timepieces. This example is a collectible variant known as the “Ghost”. People love them! It is made of 18k yellow gold and steel. The case measures 29mm in diameter. It dates to the 1990s. The bracelet is 7 inches!

OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Reference 145.022-69 Unpolished

This OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Reference 145.022-69 is spectacular example. It features the original tritium on the dial and hands. The dial very attractive. The case appears to be unpolished and measures at 42mm. It is powered by a manual wind movement (Caliber 861 made by Lemania).

Zenith Chronomaster Original Limited Edition For HODINKEE Full Set Unpolished

The Zenith Chronomaster Original Limited Edition For HODINKEE is one of the coolest LEs by the Dinkers. Particularly, this dial is very attractive for a Zenith El Primero and I quite love it.

It comes with box and papers and shows very little signs of wear. It comes from the original owner.

Rolex Pepsi GMT-Master II 126710BLRO Full Set Unpolished

Rolex “Pepsi” GMT-Master II reference 126710BLRO is one of the most sought-after modern sports watches today. It captures the iconic DNA from the models created for Pan Am pilots in the 1950s. Due to its incredible heritage and iconic look, it remains a flagship model for Rolex to this day.

The watch remains unpolished. It was worn minimally over the years and has a few scratches on the buckle. Outside of that it is in exceptional condition. It was sold in 2021, it was purchased from the original owner, and is “full set” with its original box and papers.

Rolex GMT-Master Ref 1675 Unpolished

This Rolex GMT-Master is a staple Rolex model that has an incredible history. It was designed for Pan Am pilots in the 1950`s to ensure that they could measure two time zones at once. This reference 1675 is a fantastic example. The case appears to be unpolished.

It features a “Mark 2” dial. The watch dates to circa 1973 with a 3.3M serial. It is paired on a non-dated Rolex 7836 folded Rivet bracelet dating to 1973-1975 with 380 end links which are correct for the 1675.
