Rolex Datejust Reference 6305-1 in 18K Yellow Gold

The Datejust is one of the greatest watches introduced in 1945. While we’ve highlighted the great value in steel Datejusts in our past article ‘Don't Sleep On This: The Simple Vintage Rolex Datejust In Steel’, models such as this 18K yellow gold example are just amazing.

This Rolex Datejust is an amazing time watch. It has been lightly polished. It features a 975,XXX serial dating to circa 1953. It features luminous “dagger” markers and “alpha” hands. The 18K gold case is lightly polished, but is nice. It measures 36mm in diameter and 44mm lug-to-lug. The watch is paired on the original Jubilee bracelet has been tightened and is very nice and tight. It dates to 1954.

The watch does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test
